About the project
Design for All informs and educates on the topic of universal design and is closely connected to the Zlin Design Week festival. It deals with accessibility and how to design products and services for the widest possible audience, including those with some kind of disability (e.g., physical or mental, temporary or permanent, cultural).
The Universal design project – Exploring the potential and engagement of the new generation in the creative industries is funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the EEA Grants. The main organizer is the Faculty of Multimedia Communications of Tomas Bata University in Zlín.
Main objectives of the project

To introduce the Design for All concept (Universal Design) to experts and the wider public

Through the Design and Marketing Conference, demonstrate the benefits of universal design for users and businesses.

Through accompanying panel discussions, workshops, and an exhibition, introduce accessibility by experience.

Case studies, expert contacts, and basic techniques can help companies and individuals start implementing universal design principles into their practice.
